A weekly triage that does not take over your weekend

Clear your inbox and reset commitments in a short, repeatable review.

Weekly triage is not a life audit. It is twenty minutes to make sure captured thoughts have an honest home. If it takes an hour, the system is asking too much.

A short review

  1. Empty the inbox: task, project, reference, later, or let go.
  2. Look at active projects: does each have one visible next action?
  3. Check the next seven days for commitments with real dates.
  4. Choose a small number of live priorities for the coming week.
  5. Stop.

Do not reorganize categories. Do not rebuild your system. Do not punish yourself for old tasks. Triage works because it makes decisions routine, not because it creates a beautiful dashboard.

Put it on a day that has enough slack. Consistency matters more than the exact ritual.
